Grace pov The hospital room was quiet except for the steady beep of the heart monitor and the soft hiss of oxygen flowing through Jace's IV. I sat in the uncomfortable chair beside his bed, pulled as close as the medical equipment would allow, and watched him breathe. In. Out. In. Out. Each breath was proof he was alive.
