Chapter 13

Axel's POV........

I f*****g cant believe my sister would try and pull her bullshit with my girl. Sitting at the table with Shawn on my lap I say " I have an announment to make shut the f**k up." That gets everyones attention in the room and it got quiet fast poor shawn was shaking and clinging to me like her life depended on it. Poor thing I now know I cant yell around her. I stand up and hold her shaking form as close to me as possible I say " This is Shawn and her dog Pua. Shawn has just agreed to let me claim her as my ol' lady so better respect her." Now because we are not a 1% club we run with the law not against it. Most of the members that are in our club are volunteer fire fighter and cops or both. Our club helps the needy most of the ol' ladys are on squad 10 duty when there are big fires or huge incidents. Now that Shawn is here and she is a nurse she will be on the modified squad 10 we have for the ol' ladys. These ladys are nurses and medical assistants and LPN's they get called to help the guys and the emts becuase there is never too much help. This is something that we need to talk about later. I cant help my mind going off because I found the one. " Shawn is a nursing student and is going to sit for her NECLEX exam soon she is under our protection you undersrand." I bellow out I want her safe she is mine to protect. I hear " Yes Ice Man". My road name is Ice Man because I have always been cold to everyone some have said my heart is made of ice. Not that I care what they think of me the only persons opinion of me I care about is Shawn. Everyone is excited that I'm off thr market and poor Shawn is shaking and crying in my arms. I tell her " Baby lets go bsck to my room if this is too much I can have breakfast brought to us." She let out a muffeled " Ya" and I carry her back to my apartment in the bunk house.

After we get to my apartment she starts to relax a little I can tell that yelling is going to scare her. I have my work cut out for me helping her heal and move past her trama. This is a road I am willing to walk down with her. I say to her " Baby what would you like to eat for breakfast I will have a prospect bing it up here." She just shakes a little and her sobs have stopped but not yet the tears. I feel horrible for scaring her. I say " Baby girl I'm sorry I scared you when I yelled I did not mean that. Please look at me baby." I lift her chin and have her eyes meet mine. And she said " I was scared of the yelling but no one was ever this happy I was around anyone or with somone." That statement right there made me melt it felt amazing to know it was not all fear based her reaction. I said " Baby they all are happy I have you my dad would not have said we would protect you if he was not happy about us. Remember baby I love you and this club will love you." She just looked at me funny and said " You love me but how you just met me?" I just smile and say " Love at first sight baby love at first sight." She said "Thats not a thing you know." I said " Oh really then why do I feel the tingles when we touch why do I see fire works when we kiss? What is that to you nothing we are magical together and made for one another just let me show you." She said " Ok if you say so." At that moment the tones go off for a call for my company. Its a possible structure fire so I get up and say " I gotta go Baby stay here lock the door a prospect will bring waffels sausage bacon and eggs up there are drinks in the fridge help your self." She said " I'm allergic to eggs everytging else is fine go be safe." She kissed me and said " Please come home to me." That right there is why we are ment to be she just accepted me being a volunteer fire fighter like nothing. Well it did help her dad was a volunteer fire fighter but its different because she never got to see the real side. I just hope this works with us I cant lose her she is my world she keeps melting my heart. She is amazing and my love and I will come home to her.
