Mending a broken spirit

Chapter 6

Shawn's POV....

How dose he know all of this? I have not told him anything I have neve let anyone in. What am I going to do. After he stopped me and told me how he is going to protect me i just sobed. How dose this man just not care that I am a broken mess. Wait did he just say where you go I go? "What did you just say to me?" He looks into my eyes and I get lost in his jade green eyes. He says " Baby girl I will protect you until my last dying breath. You are my end game Shawn I just know it please can you give us a chance please?" He wants me little old broken me I avert my eyes as tears roll down my cheeks. He lifts ny chin up so our eyes meet again. He gently wipes the tears from my cheeks and asks. " Baby girl why are you crying?" I just look at him and smile and say " No one has ever wanted me I am happy to feel wanred by you." I could see the pure joy in his eyes with my response. We just continue to srand there and he is just holding onto me as we see the beautiful moring sky around us. With it being summer it is very warm already.

We break apart and he picks me up and puts me on the back of his bike. He puts a helmet on me and buckles it for me. Then Axel get on his bike and says " Hold on tight lean when I lean we are going for breakfast." I just nod my head. He starts the bike and off we go. As we are heading down the road he leans back into me and holds onto my thigh. I feel so free I feel as if no one can hurt me I feel safe and at home.

Axel's POV...

I love the feeling of having my women on the back of my bike. She is clinging onto me for dear life I can tell she was scared before the ride she was shaking like a leaf. It broke my heart. At first she was still shaking now she is relaxed and I could feel her relax he hold on me. I'm just taking her for breakfast at my favourite dinner down the road called Meg's Place. As we pull up the restaurant is packed and I can feel her tense up as we pull into the lot. I quickly park and say " Baby girl whats wrong?" She looks down and looks scared. She says " If my parents see me out with you they are going to beet me." At this point I see red no one will lay a hand on my baby girl. I say " Baby girl your not going back there." She looks up at me in horrer and says " I can't leave my dog or my things I have a plan to leave on August 12th." She tells me and I feel shocked. s**t this girl has some balls to have a plan in place to leave.

After a few moments I look at her and say " Well baby girl that plan gose into effect today you'r moving in with me today and so is your dog." She just looks at me in shock she says "Why would you want ne to move in with you and take on the wrath of my family and let me bring my dog?" I feel a sense of pride because she is not used to feeling wanted and apretiated. I get to be the one to show her the best side of life and mend her broken sperit. I say "Baby girl you are my end game one day I will make you my wife and I want to keep you safe. If that means you have to move in now then thats fine if that means I can do my job and protect you. We will take this relationship at your pace you call the shots here not me. I want you to tell me when your comfortable and when I do something that makes you uncomfortable. We need to communicate clearly with eachother to make this work ok baby girl." She looks and me and furrows her brow and says " Did you just ask me to be your girlfriend and move in with you before our first date?" I chuckle and say " Well damn streight baby girl if that is what I need to do to keep my girl safe, and in my arms then I would do anytging for you." She looks and me in shock and says " Ok well then lest skip breakfast and lets get my stuff its pack and I just need my dog."

I just look at her in shock she has her things packed now damn she was ready and planed this out well. " We can't take the dog on my bike but I can call Leo to meet us there with the truck." She shook her head at me and said " No need just take me to my storage unit I have a 2021 Jeep wrangler I have the keys in my bag." I am shocked my jaw hits the floor and I know my eyes are popping out if my head. She hust giggles and closes me mouth and kisses me. She gives me the address and we are off to fet her jeep. Man am I one lucky son of a b***h she is perfect for me.

As we are headed to her storage unit I am thinking of just how desperate my girl has to be to have an escape plan. f**k she has a car and her things packed f**k what have her parents done to her. I just grow more and more angry with them until all I see is red. f**k why did they do this to her she is so innocnet and prefect.
