Chapter2. Alexander

" Alexander are you sure about this?" My father Samuel Stark asked for the fifth time and I sighed getting frustrated all of a sudden.
" yes dad I'm positive. You know I have done everything I can to find my mate and nothing seems to work, this is my last chance dad." He shook his head at me and continue watching as I packed the rest of my clothes into the suitcases I was taking with me.
" I know that you are desperate in finding your mate son, but I think this isn't the right thing to do. Teaching at one of our rival pack will only make things worse, well not for us but for them." I chuckled a bit because he was correct. Having me there would be like a time bomb waiting to explode because I was known for my terrible temper.
" dad well technically I'm almost two hundred years old and I feel like I'm older than that because this search for my mate as taken a toll on my body. One more search and then that's it, I'm going to give up because I don't know what to do anymore." I sighed and sat down on my king size bed and watched as my father walked up to me and sat down beside me.
" I know this is really hard for you son, seeing your brother and sister finding their mates must have been extremely difficult for you to see.
I know that you mean well, because our pack deserves to have a Luna queen but if anything happens, no matter what I want you home." I agreed with him and he walked out saying he had some pack business to take care of.
' hey Alex you ready?' My beta and best friend Noah asked through mind link and I told him yes.
I looked around my room one more time and sighed at how gloomy it felt.
" this room sure could use a woman's touch." I muttered to myself and walked out with three omegas tagging along with my suitcases. They were big and heavy which had them struggling a bit, but I didn't care. Only one thing was on my mind and that was to find my mate and get the hell away from that pack as fast as I can.
I got to the limo that was there to take me and Noah along with some of my most trusted warriors to the moon stone pack.
" good you're finally here slow poke." I growled at Noah for being direspectful to me in front of my warriors and he held his hands up showing his surrender.
" oh come on man lighten up a bit. I'm also mateless and you don't see me going around snapping at everyone because of it." He was right but I didn't care. When I am in a bad mood I let everyone know because I hated it when people tries to talk to me.
Noah can be annoying sometimes and at times like right now I feel like snapping his neck and killing him right here but I couldn't. He has done a lot for me and helped me out countless times so I owed him a lot.
" so do you think you would meet your mate at the blue moon pack?" Noah asked and I rolled my eyes at him.
" I doubt it. But we all have to be hopeful right?" He snickered at me and shook his head.
" you see I don't want a mate." I was shocked when he said that because he never told me this before.
" really? So you don't think that finding a mate should be your number one priority? You are twenty six Noah! I think it's time for you to stop your whorish ways and settle down with the one who the moon goddess created for you!" I growled at him and he glared at me.
" I don't care about any of those stuff and quite frankly no one can force me to do what I don't want to do. If I ever meet my mate I'll reject her or him because you know the moon goddess loves to play tricks on us wolves and if she ever pairs me with a man ill do more than reject him, I'll kill him. I don't care about any of those stuff because I like the idea of not being committed to one person! I am not like you Alex!" I shook my head and growled at him frustratingly because he was stupid to think like that.
The rest of the journey was quiet and tensed because I wanted nothing more than to punch Noah for what he just said. The warriors kept silent throughout the drive to the pack which was better for them.
It took approximately two and a half hours to get there and if we ran we could have gotten there sooner but I was feeling a bit lazy and we had our suitcases with us so it was easier to travel this way. when we arrived the alpha and Luna welcomed us and showed us to the guest house we were staying at. I didn't want to have a big feast or a welcome party because I was only here for one purpose.
' and that's finding our mate.' My wolf gray said and I growled at him and locked him away in the back of my mind.
He was so annoying and he has been super stressed out about not having a mate that I had to block him for sometime so he could calm down. When we got settled in our rooms, I took a shower and ate the food that was brought to me. Not before having one of my warriors taste it first of course.
I went to sleep hoping that I find my mate and I could leave with her and show her all the love that she will ever need.
In the morning I woke up and got ready then made my way downstairs for some coffee. Noah had a cup ready for me and he told me that he was going to tag along with me to the college as well. I nodded my head and grabbed my briefcase and headed out the door.
The alpha was also there and he showed me around so I could get familiar with my surrounding. He then showed me the classroom that I was to teach in and left with Noah to conduct pack business.
Noah was acting strangely at first and ran as fast as he could out of here before I could ask him what was wrong with him.
When I entered the classroom this delicious smell hits me right away and my eyes widened because I couldn't believe my mate was here. The smell of coconut and lavender wafted through my nostrils and I felt calm for a while but the next minute I growled because she was hugging this pup and I couldn't control my temper.
" mate!" I shouted and she looked at me with wide eyes.
' she better get away from that pup!' Gray shouted and my eyes started changing to blood red and that’s when I knew that My beast was out and I couldn't control him, let's pray that I don't kill anyone because I didn't want to start a war knowing that my mate was from this pack.
