"This is magnificent. Who did you say your grandmother was?" "Uh, I didnt actually." Sienna was starting to get a bit tired from walking. "it'll take about two days to get there." "To where?" "Stop asking questions. That's all you've done since you've been here." Sienna stayed quiet for the rest of the time being.

kairos was looking back at her to see if she was okay. "You know it's different here. we don't get usually tired or hungry or anything since it's muted. I have a feeling you might enjoy it though." Sienna looked at him peculiarly. " So can I ask again where we are going?" " A place where you can stay. when we get there you will be guarded by me and two other guards of the main Fate God. Be silent and don't ask any questions."

"Does anything bad happen?" "No, we'll be led to one of the chambers there in the palace.

when it was finally the second day, Sienna did exactly as she was told. Sienna couldn't help but be in awe. everything was so beautiful and dark and gloomy. Kairos kept looking back at her to signal him to follow. She quickly kept up with him. When they got there apparently Adriel was there.

Sienna was stunned to see him. She couldn't help but smile. Adriel looked at her with a bit of.a cold stare. He was talking to some other men.

"Kairos, Adriel is here," she said almost excitedly. "You must always be weary of him. Not sure why he's here." Kairos went over to him to talk to him

"Kairos, you're here. Welcome, I see you've brought your pet with you." "She has nothing to do with anything. I believe she's innocent." Adriel smiled, almost evil. "Well, isn't she a darling? How are you dear Sienna?" Sienna blushed. "I-im good. what are you doing here?" "Well, if you must know we have unfinished business."

"What do you mean?" "I've come to collect you. You belong to me remember?" Sienna looked back at Kairos. Kairos jumped in. "She's innocent, Adriel! Death comes for everyone Kairos. Innocent or guilty." "Kairos what's he talking about? I thought you said everything will be okay?" " Kairos shouldn't be trusted, dear Sienna. He's an opportunist. Did he ever tell you why he needed you?" Adriel asked chuckling.

"He needs you for his own selfish reasons. he doesn't care about your well being." Sienna almost angrily turned to Kairos. "Is this true? We'll i guess i should've known."

"Sienna, it's not like that. You have you trust me. he's misleading you." Sienna looked away from kairos and back at Adriel.

"I was beginning to think you were different. Am i foolish to think such things?"

Adriel walked over and grabbed Sienna's hand. "Youre better off with me child. I'm your safe keeper." "If I go with you, what happens? nobody has told me anything and I'm being swayed by a daemon and angel of death that's coming for my soul and I don't even know why!!!" Sienna ran away crying hoping she got away from them.

she stopped so she can breathe. one of the other souls tried to drag her down. she ket out a cry for help. they both came to her aid as they can. "Sienna!!!" they both yelled in unison.

"you know if it wasn't for you, she wouldn't be here in the first place Adriel. What do you want? why do you keep interfering with my work?" Kairos asked angrily.

adriel laughed. "Kai, don't you know I'm just the Collector. I don't have any intentions with her. I don't feel anything. But I did get to her first then you showed up."

"she wasn't supposed to die. she was murdered and you know that. so what's the reason for her soul adriel?"

adriel smiled. "if you must know, kairos. The Fates have been asking where she is and I've told them I need more time. ironically."

"there's something more to it isn't there?" "she has a ring we need to bring her back to life. she has magical abilities that we need." "what for? she doesn't know about this yet."

"Aghhhh!!!! Help meeeee!!!" One of the souls grabbed Sienna and tried to kiss her. Kairos slashed him with his sword.

She was hurt as she didn't know why. Adriel noticed the Soul bit her. "Kai, somethings wrong." Sienna fell but Kai caught her. "Adriel please help us. She needs help," Kai pleaded.

Adriel rolled his eyes. "Why must I help her?" "Because you need her! don't you?" "there's a million other souls i can take. I don't need your precious Sienna." "Adriel!!!"

"Fine, but you owe me!" Kairos laid her down on the table and Adriel looked over at her. She was looking more and more pale by the second. if he didn't help her now, he knows that she will be a Shade instead of a ghost.

He placed his hands over her, and did his magic.

the ring Sienna wore absorbed his magic. she slowly came back to life and coughed. "What what happened?" "Oh, you're back! I thought you were gone for a moment," Kairos said almost hopeful.

"i remember my past life. I remember you kairos. except you were human." kairos shook his head. "Sienna ive never been human. What are you talking about?" "i don't know it's all a weird dream. this all is." Kairos couldn't help but smile. "Maybe in another life, Sienna. If the Fates allow it."

"That would be different. By the way, Adriel. Thank you for saving me." Adriel smiled. "youre welcome. it was no big deal. but you owe me still. it doesn't mean anything got it?"
