Chapter 8

As I awoke I saw myself surrounded by the people I care about most: my family and my friends. They all looked overwhelmingly worried. I sat up slowly and asked, “How long was I out?”

“Not very long. Only about five minutes, but we were so worried.” Claire said.

“I’m sorry for worrying you, but I found out that it was something that happens to all queens once they cast intentionally for the first time. It is so that we can meet our soul, our witch counterpart. She is a very old soul and she has guided all the past queens and will continue to guide them in the future.” I explained.

“What all did she tell you?” My mom asked.

“A lot. she told me that queens have more powerful casting abilities. She also explained that most witches have 3-4 elemental powers and queens usually have 7-8. She revealed that I and more powerful than any other queens because I have control over all 12 elements.” they all gasp.

“But Tessa there’s only 11 elemental controls.” My aunt pointed out.

“She told me I have control over Water, Fire, Air, Earth, Soul, Light, Dark, Ice, Lightning, Storm, Metal, and Mind.”

“I’ve never heard of mind control. Do you think it is a power specific to queens?” Uncle Thomas asked.

“It is” I hear a voice say.

“She tells me that it is. I believe that is what puts the queen's above all other witches.”

“Well then, I guess that it's time to start training.” My dad said.
