When i got home, i thought i was in trouble but i wasn't, i didn't even have time for a run, because right when i got here dad wanted to see me,, I went into his office, that's when he told me he invited the new alpha that moved to town for dinner and he's bringing his family, okay, that means i have to get cleaned up and look nice, and make sure that everything was clean, and looked like a kingdom,

‘Son, all i want you to do is make sure you are here, and well behaved, he has two daughters, So don't go flirting with them, all i want you to do is watch the alpha, this is your job for tonight, if he makes any move to try and harm your mother or me, we will both kill him, this is what a king is all about, protecting your family and your kingdom, I knew this was the start of training to be king, and i took this seriously, i knew what he meant, and if he made any move to harm my family, i will cut his throat open and watch him bleed out, this is my family and kingdom, a new alpha, means he could maybe challenge my dad for the crown, And that's not going to happen,

“Fine, go get ready, we have a thirty minutes for them to get here, everyone will be in their house until they leave, I nodded as i went back upstairs, i hate dressing up when there are guest coming, I went into my room and Lacey was in there she was looking around,

“Why the hell are you in my room? Lacey?” she jumped when i started talking,

“I was looking for my shorts if you remembered i spent the night here last week, i thought i left them in here, but i guess not, i need to get out of here before Kevin thinks theres something going on between us, there was but not now, I'm sorry for coming in here without your permission,” something tells me she is just using Kevin to make me jealous, but its not going to work, i don't want her as my mate, i have made it clear to her, many times i do not want her as my mate, i waited until she was out the door, she turned to say something but i slammed the door in her face, if she can't guess by now, its done and over between us, i need to make sure my door is locked so i won’t have another surprise in here, I took another shower, picked out a button up light blue shirt and jeans, putting them on, then my shoes, i should walk down there barefoot, but that would only cause my mother to slap the back of my head, so i rather for that not to happen, Looked into the mirror and i was done, i didn't rush down there i sat on my couch clicked on the tv and started watching nascar, it was rained out and all they were doing was interviews, that sucked, I waited until my mom mindlinked me asking me to come down stairs the guest was here, goddess please help me, if this man challenges my father, ill rip his f*****g head right off of him,

When I walked downstairs, I saw mom at the bottom of the steps. She had a frown on her face. I guess she didn't like what i was wearing,

“Get your f*****g ass back up there and put on a different top, it shows your arms, we have told you not to f**k with us, your lucky your not chained with silver chains, put on long sleeves right now,” goddess this woman is f****d up, Walking back up, i found a long sleeve shirt, putting it on, great, im just going to be hot the rest of the night, three weeks, can't come any faster, they won't even know that im gone, the time they wake up i will already be gone, i decided that i wasnt going to take anything but the cash i had hidden, if anyone looked for it they still wouldn't find it, i can buy what i need when im gone, i had to redo my hair puttin it back into a ponytail, im sure my mom wouldn't mind that when i walked back down, she took my hair taking it out of the hair tye,

“girl what did i just tell you, your not going to look like a tramp and try and catch his son's eye, We are all ready, Get your ass in the car right now,” when she snatched the hair tie out of my hair, it took roots out as well, and that really hurt, running my fingers through my hair as i hurried to the car, as always i had to sit in the way back so they won't be able to hear me breath,

“Your lucky we are going to let you eat, you better enjoy this little girl, the s**t you just pulled you won’t eat for a few days, here we go again, i'm so used to not eating, it only took us thirty minutes to get here, the kingdom was beautiful, but i didn't see anyone that's weird, Before we got out of the car my dad made some rules for me,

Nikki, if you don't want to spend three days in the dungeon you better f*****g listen to me, you do not mess with their son, He is Ivy's, is that clear, no making eye contact with anyone, no talking unless you are spoken to, and do not eat to much, you are already over weight, it's no wonder the car didn't break down with you in it, if you tell anyone that you are beaten, if you raise your sleeves up even if its a mistake you will be punished, i will not tolerate being disrepected, now lets get going and get in there,” sighing i stepped out of the car, making sure the sleeves on my shirt was covering my arms, my hair is covering the back of my neck, mom says if you show your neck, its inviting guys into you, that doesnt make any sense at all, but its what ever, When we got out of the car, i saw three guards walking down the steps,

“We were told to escort you inside the house, the king is making sure that dinner is almost read, the queen is helping setting the table and the prince will be down shortly, i saw Ivy Stiffen, like she was smelling something, she looked over to the second guard, her eyes wide, i wanted to laugh, she just found her mate in one of the kings guards, he nodded at her like he knew, but he was on his shift, he can’t do anything, but i know what she will do, she will reject him for the king's son, just wait in see, its so funny right now, because all they could do is watch each other, dad got what was going on,

‘I don't think so son, she is for the king's son, as soon as he sees her he will make her his, he laughed as he walked them inside, i was walking behind them, that is my role in this family, i walk behind them like i was a nobody, i wasn’t meant to be born i was a huge mistake i should had died in my moms stomach, i hear it every single day of my life, Morgan started stirring around, she was sniffing and said softly, ]

‘Morgan, that doesn't make any difference, he will reject us, keep yourself hidden don't say anything and hide your scent so no one will be able to know you are with me, please just do this for me,” she whimpered knowing i was right, i knew she wasn't going to hide for to long, she will look through my eyes look around for a few minutes than go back in, she doesn't like my family, she knows what they do to me, i can't handle this anymore, in three weeks im gone, we walked into the house one of the guards looked over at me a little surprised since he didn't know i was here, he almost shut the door on me,

“Ma'am, i'm so sorry, i didn't know you was with them, your really quite,” my dad turned glaring at me but quickly recovered when the guard looked over at him,

“I'm sorry, sir, she's just really quiet at times. She stays to herself. She didn't mean any harm, did you, Nikki?”

“No sir, i didn't. i'm truly sorry.” The guard chuckled at me, saying,

“No big deal, no need to be sorry ms Nikki, come on inside here, i know its got to be a little chilly, just then a tall man with short dark hair with brown eyes came into view with a beautiful woman with long dark hair and green eyes they were both smiling at us,

“Welcome to our king Alpha Guss. It's a pleasure to meet you, and this must be your luna,”

“Yes, this is my mate, Tonya, please meet the king and the queen, these are my two beautiful daughters, this one is Ivy, she's eighteen, and this one here is Nikki, she will be eighteen in three weeks,”

“It's a pleasure to meet you Ivy and Nikki, Tonya i'm sure you have some hobbies you can talk to my mate about that, she might can find some stuff to do if you want,”

“I would love to,” i knew my mother was lying, she would rather sit by the pool and drink her worries away, i knew my mother she would not want to do anything even if she was ordered to do so, Morgan woke up again startling me,

‘Mate is near. He's coming,”

“Morgan please, if they know i have you, we are dead,” i hated to do this but i had to block her out, she will come forward and ruin everything, mate or not a mate, i'm leaving, I heard a throat being cleared i look toward the person that was clearing his throat, he was looking right at me,I had to look away, that is Ivy's man, father told me so, i had to be proper, and well behaved or i will go hungry for a few days,
