Shit, s**t, s**t, tomorrow is the day, i already put a change of clothes into a bag with my money, i took from the house, the account i have will be waiting for me when i get to the bank, i'm leaving tomorrow, i was in my room pacing, i was nervous and scared i really didn't want to do this, but a part of me knew i had to, I heard my cell buzzing, i looked at the caller id and saw it was my mother, that's weird, why would she be calling me, i decided to answer it,
“Hello mother, who can I help you with today?”
“Honey, please just listen to me.”
“Why should I listen to you? for years you let them beat me while she was so drunk you was passed out, i don’t care what you have to say mother,” i was going to hang up when she pleaded for me not, a part of me wanted to know what she had to say, the other half didn't care,
“Please. Nikki, just listen,”
‘Fine, you have five minutes the time is ticking, tick tock mother,” i knew i was being mean, but the s**t i was put through and she never stopped them because she was always passed out drunk,
“Honey, i left your father for my true mate, and that's a long story i will have to tell you face to face oneday, but long story short, He sent rogues here to attack and kill him so he could drag me back, he's coming after you next, i know your birthday is tomorrow, you need to let the king and queen know about this, i don't know when he's coming for you, but he will come after you,” i thought about it for a minute than i sighed, i knew then it was time to get out of here, if i didn't he would keep coming until i was dead, i said calmly,
‘I will let them know, and we will be ready. thank you for calling and letting me know,” i clicked on end and than tossed the phone on the bed, f**k this, im not leaving tomorrow, im leaving tonight, i can't stay here any longer, mate or not, i can't be here anymore,” a knock on my bedroom door made me jump, i hid the bag under the bed, so noone would see, i already knew who it was, it was Brian, what does he want now, i mean come on, give a girl a break, Walking over to the door to open it, i saw him with lillies in his hand,
“i know it's getting late, but I thought you might like these. You can put them in a vase if you want,” i took them out of his hand,
“Thank you, they are very beautiful, i have a vase i can put them inn,” i walked over to place them in the vase that was on my dresser, i turned and he was in my room,he looked around like he was looking for something,
‘How about we go on another date tomorrow, we have a theater here, and have all kinds of movies you can watch, i'll pop some popcorn make some nachos, maybe some hotdogs, and we will have a snackfest while watching a movie,” i knew if i didn't answer him he would never leave my room, if i say no, he would ask me why, so i had no other choice to answer him with a yes,
‘Sure, i would love to, and thank you again for the flowers, i love them,” i reached over kissing his cheek, he looked at me strangely, then walked out of the room, i hurried to shut the door,
“You know he saw me, right? qjust a quick glance, i think he thought he was seeing things,”
‘Damn it, Morgan, i told you not to do that. You know Guss is coming after us. We need to leave tonight. Why did you do that?”
‘Because, just for a second, i wanted his wolf to feel me, even if he thinks he was feeling wrong, we haven't even bonded because you keep blocking me, its not fair Nikki not to me,”
“Once we are gone, the kingdom will be safe, we are no good to them Morgan, Brian will find someone else he will be happy with a stronger mate,” she growled at me going in the back of my mind, she knew i was right, she will be there when i need her, she always is,

I had picked those lilies just for her, i remembered she said those where her favorite, at least i got a kiss on the cheek for it, but i saw something really weird when she pulled away, i saw sadness in her eyes, then i saw her eyes change color for a quick second, i swear i was seeing things, it was a slight purple and gold, than back to her color, i must had been seeing things, because she would had told me she had her wolf right, I asked Alpha and Cross if they had felt anything, they both said no, but they felt a little off like something was wrong with her, she's upset about something, i have a feeling about something, Brian and i don't like it,”
“It's going to be alright, whatever it is, she will be just fine, her birthday is tomorrow so she's probably feeling the effects, i'll set the alarm for midnight so i can hurry and get to her room, she will be shifting and i don't want her to be on her own, i want to be the first person she sees when she shifts so she will be able to tell we are mates,
