Once we were inside, I could hardly keep myself from gasping.   The walls were clean and white, adorned with seashells and paintings, the couches a deep blue, sunlight filtering through the window and bouncing off of the white tile. The stairs seemed to go on forever, and even though I craned my neck, I couldn't see where the endless spiral ended.   "Six bedrooms, seven bathrooms," Rhonda said, looking proud, as if the place were actually hers. She rapped her nails against the marble countertops, smiling broadly at Luke and I. "Daniel's rich as hell."   I raised my brows, unprepared for the sudden bluntness.
