There is new gossip in school, and it gets around pretty quick in Elsen High. I can hear it all around me the minute I step into the school. I hear some stuff about Carla's party, and I can imagine--and expect--the obvious. Someone had s*x with someone, and it's being broadcasted now.
Hailee and Lena aren't in the commons today, so it leaves me to stand alone and wait for the bell. The chatter is quite noisy, and easily hearable. It's routine, but sometimes, it gets to my nerves to be spreading rumours about people. It's like the value of feelings don't matter anymore.
