(Angela) For some reason, I woke up quite early judging from the dark sky which showed that the sun was still yet to rise. I sighed as I left for the bathroom to relieve my bladder. My stomach didn't feel quite right as I nursed a little pain in my lower abdomen. I got up from the toilet seat and almost shouted at the sight before me; blood. I should have known my period was coming and here I was in the bathroom with no pads or tampons whatsoever. I thought of using a few tissue rolls to improvise but it would be useless in a few minutes as I always had a heavy flow on the first day of my period. “What am I going to do now?” I groaned as I held my hand over my stomach as if to cushion the prickly pain I was feeling in my lower abdomen.
