I had been driving in silence for some minutes as I thought about the turn of events. It only took a few hours for my life as I knew it to change. The possibility of being a father to a five-year-old still looked like a dream but all the signs were there. He had my eyes and my blood group. Even his age matched the year I met Angela in the club and I was still in disbelief that she could hide something this big from me. How unfair had she been to keep me away from my child all these years?
There was only one thing I could do now, request a DNA test but I was going to wait, at least for Charles to recover. I was going to be in that hospital every day till he recovered and not even Angela was going to keep me away from him.
