The sound of the elevator doors opening snapped us back to reality as I took a step backward away from him.
"Looks like it's been fixed. I'll see you later," Carlos casually said and walked away from the elevator leaving me alone inside the elevator.
"What was all that?" I asked myself as I walked to the cafeteria to get Lunch. I had gotten lost in his deep blue eyes and for a moment, I was transported back to the first night we met.
I was quite surprised by the way he came to my aid and made me calm down. It made me wonder if he truly cared about me or if he was trying to avoid any accidents in his company. Whatever it was, it felt nice to see him care about me for once.
