I relayed the events of the day to her as she stared at me wide-eyed. She was surprised that Carlos of all people had been nice to me all of a sudden.
“Maybe Leo talked to him,” she had said as she washed the dishes we used to have lunch.
“I doubt it but he was a good help to me today considering the fact that I had also spilled some coffee on him,”
