Stepping out of the bathroom in just my towel, I scanned the bedroom for any sign of my mate. It appeared that he already left to go deal with the bitchy she-lycan. Honestly, I don’t understand how the two of them were ever together. I mean, I get it. She comes from a royal bloodline of lycanthropes as well but, still, they are too different in personalities. I feel bad for Killian. The Goddess must have made a huge mistake when she paired them together. I am glad that Belladonna rejected him and that Selene was kind enough to bless him with a second chance mate. Those do not happen often. They are incredibly rare, so much so that many believe they truly don't exist. That being said, the Goddess must have realized her mistake and fixed it.
