“Easy love” I whispered to Kiara as she laid her head on the bed in our chamber in the vampire kingdom’s palace, I slowly covered her with the cream duvet as she hugged the blanket holding it to her chest as if hiding under it, which she technically was.
She hasn’t said a word since we left the cottage, I didn’t really expect her to anyway, this night had been hard on the two of us, she had lost her baby, our baby, and I almost lost her, any wolf in my place would’ve gone to kill the ones responsible for causing their mates this much pain, and honestly if it were up to me, I would have, but Alexander and Rolan stopped me from doing anything that would be putting my or Kiara’s life in danger, maybe they were right in doing so, but that didn’t mean that I liked it.
