ESTRELLA'S POV
On New Year's Eve, Amy and I went shopping again. She was quite distracted this morning, but I chalked it to staying up late all night. We had a karaoke night, and together with her sister, we caused quite a ruckus in the house.
“Green or blue?“ I held the two gowns up to Amy, but she didn't give a response. “Amy?“ I snapped impatiently at her.
“Oh my God, I'm so sorry, Ella. My mind was far away.“
“Obviously. What were you thinking about?“
“Just stuff.“ She deflected once again, and I sighed. What stuff was keeping her so distracted anyway? I would get it out of her later, but I first need to get out of here. I was suddenly tired of shopping. With Amy as distracted as she was, shopping wasn't so fun.
