XANDER'S POV I barely saw my wife in the days leading to Christmas. I only saw her at dinner or breakfast. She was so excited about spending Christmas on her own terms that I couldn't bring myself to slow her down. It was all she could talk about. “We're cooking for thirteen.“ She clapped excitedly. As if she knew I was confused about the number, she started explaining why we're going to be more than a dozen. “Amy's sister is joining us, so we will be six at the table.
