Chapter 2- The Full Moon Run

Death

Everyone settles down for the feast quickly as like always they were excited for the upcoming fight. Obviously we knew there would be one. We go really far pass the borders that they have to act and if they don't we just kill a couple of border patrols. Even the children get riled up to see the fight. Us rouges really do like our violence.

"I'd like to thank the Goddess for using her strength to bless us with the Full Moon and may she bless us with this meal and give us protection till our last breath. To the Goddess!" After I finish my speech everyone raises their glass in unison, "To the Goddess!" They wait patiently for me to give the signal for them to dig into the feast. I take by place at the head of the table and make them wait just a few more seconds before nodding my head.

Meal times are already pretty violent with only half my followers, as the other half is out protecting others, so you can image the Full Moon feast with all of my followers in one place. There always seems to be a fight over the last turkey leg even thou they all know there's another one inside. I chuckle to myself as the food get demolished in a matter of minutes.

Michael comes up behind me and whispers into my ear, "Leader, everyone's getting restless, we should probably get ready soon." I swirled my drink around in my cup as I slowly nod. He bows his head and goes to sit by his mate again.

Everyone practically jumped off their chair when the moon is visible in the clearing. "Ok everyone, children to the Oak tree, females to the house and males to the Willow tree meet back here asap" I smile as everyone bows their heads and run off to their areas.

One of the males, Lucas comes over to me. "Leader, the elder witch recommends taking some of your clothes. She says they will be needed tonight" Lucas is the head doctor in my followers and spends time with the witches to learn new healing methods. I tilt my head at him, confused.

"Do you know why?" I try to get him to answer but he's very loyal to the witches secrets. He shakes his head apologetically, before walking to join the other males.

'It's probably nothing' My wolf, Kiera, says wagging her tail. 'Maybe.. You ready for a fight?' I smirk as I hear her yapping happily.

Tonight I'll give my followers a show to remember.

"Is everyone here?" I say coming out of the shadows to see my hundreds followers waiting patiently. Everyone yaps happily.

I shake my head and howl happily before speeding off. Be prepared New Oaks today I get one step closer to my revenge.

Nate

We get to the pack house when the moons already at it's highest. Ryder wags his tail happily knowing we get more land to explore. "Welcome boys!" the Alpha smiles happily to us. Leo is immediately drawn to the three girls waiting with their father. "These are my three daughters, they were eager to meet you" He says gesturing to them.

'Crap! I know what happened!' Kieran comes through on the mind link probably thinking the same as I am. 'What that our parents wanted us to be mated to these three, therefor causing an alliance?' I sigh as Kieran nods his head to me.

"Hi I'm Gisella!" The youngest daughter steps forward and smiles happily to Leo. He awkwardly smiles. Why? Because she looks so similar to his own mother! Dark chestnut hair sitting gracefully on her shoulders, dark blue eyes, thin lips and a button nose. Kieran furiously bites hit lip trying not laugh.

"Uhh Leo" he sighs, knowing me and Kieran won't hold ourselves any longer. "Oh that's a cute name" She giggles quietly.

By this point it's too far gone for me and Kieran so we just howl with laughter. Leo growls to us but it doesn't stop us falling over looking like idiots. The Alpha does not look impressed with us and Gisella looks upset, but we just can't stop. "Yeah real mature guys!" Leo snarls at us.

"What are they laughing at?" Gisella smiles at Leo making us laugh even more. "Oh um- You look a bit um like..my mom?" He shrugs nervously and Gisella looks so taken back by his comment. "I can't breath!" Kieran's voice cuts through the awkward silence.

The middle child walks over to him and tries to help him up. "Hello, mister, I'm Lauralee. You must be Kiechan" She smiles so sure of herself. Leo roars into laughter and Kieran's jaw hits the fall. "Is something wrong Mr. Kiechan?" She looks puzzled. He coughs purposely trying to clear the air. "It's Kieran" he sighed. She takes her hand up to her mouth and gasps.

"I'm so sorry Mr Kieran" She curtseys quickly looking like she's about to cry. Kieran grabs her hand before quickly letting go, a shocked expression hitting them both in the face. "Uh Kieran? Buddy?" Me and Leo stop laughing to see Kieran and Lauralee just staring at each other. He reaches out and grabs her hand. "Mine!" He shouts. The Alpha looks so shocked as his child nestles into Kieran's chest, in fact everyone looks shocked.

"Uh Kieran?" He snaps his head towards me and growls. He collects himself and walks over to us.

'Bro care to explain?' I open the mind link to Leo and Kieran. 'I-I think she's my mate' His response is nervous and he starts going pale. 'Don't worry I go this' I smile to him and he smiles gracefully back.

"So Alpha when's the run?" Leo and Kieran look hopefully at the Alpha. Every pack always does a massive run on Full Moon. They're so much fun and half the time it's where you meet you mate.

"Dad might have to cancel it" The final child walks towards me. She sticks her hand out, "Blair nice to meet you" She smiles happily.

"Why is it going to be cancelled?" I walk to the Alpha, completely ignoring Blair. "Well the rouge pack might attack our pack next" He says nervously. I mean he's an alpha but I still toward over his, what 5'8"? body. Being 6'5" and all.

I smirk to him and pat him on the back. "We can take on some rouges. There shall be a run tonight" He nods quickly and mind links his pack.

The pack meets in front of the house, everyone already in their wolves. The Alpha gives a speech about the Moon Goddess and everyone speeds off following him and his beta. The kids weave in and out of trees happily yapping to themselves.

God how I missed this. The wind in my fur, feeling the solid ground underneath me. This is the only time I feel... free.

We run for ages before stopping to admire the moon a few miles away from the borders.

Everyone starts to muck around in this clearing. I watch two pups run around and start weaving between the trees. I lay down waiting for them to come out... But they don't.

I tilt my head and stand up. Slowly I walk toward where they entered. I sniff the air and smell... Blood! Fresh blood and lots of it.

I growl towards the borders never expecting to get a growl back. By now the whole pack has realised what's going on and they're staring at me.

"What little princing? Can't deal with the smell of blood?" A voice comes out from the darkness, followed by growls and snaps all around the clearing.

Death

We surrounded the pack in a clearing much to my happiness. I howl for my followers to step out of the shadows and they respond. Snapping and growling at the pack before I make my big entrance. All eyes land on me as I sprint across to the pack as quick as I could and grab one of the Alpha's daughters. My followers howl with laughter and happiness. "When the moon reaches it's highest point me and my followers with release our scents, your pack must do the same or I'll kill your precious little girl"

The Alpha looks around at something or someone to help, but unless he agrees I'll kill his princess and let my followers rip apart her body till it's nothing. After a couple of impatient minutes the Alpha finally nods his head slowly. "Good choice" I smirk. Call us rouges mean but we use a little time to find our mates.

I can read their minds on top of other things so if one of my follower's mates don't want to join us they get rejected. I still haven't found my mate and to be honest I'm getting impatient.

Because I'm crueller than anyone else. I need an heir if the worst is to happen to me. So I plan on dragging this poor pup along till he agrees to f**k me. For some reason, having unprotected s*x with your mate on the first night you meet gets you pregnant. Don't ask me why because I don't know.

The moon reaches the point where it glows all around the clearing. So as said my followers release their scent as do I. We wait for the pack to do the same. It takes a second but they do it.

"That's impossible..." I whisper apparently loud enough for everyone else to hear.

Nate

I look over at the alpha and wait for him to release his scent before I release mine. It takes some time but he does it as followed by the rest of the pack. I was too focused on the other rouges that it took me a while to realise this amazing scent. It smelt like fresh pine and watered roses. 'MATE! MATE MATE MATE IS HERE!!' Ryder screams in my head. I look around and my eyes rest on one wolf.

The leader of the rouges... Death himself. His paw is on Blair's neck as he stares at me. 'I told you that you were gay!' Ryder yaps in my head. He removes his paw from Blair and growl some sort of command to his followers.

Death

I look over at him in awe. He's an alphas son so my pup will be strong, but this could complicate our issue. Alphas are possessive as hell over their mates. 'Let's just get our pup and reject his stupid Alpha as' Kiera growls in the back of my head.

I snarl at one of my followers to grab my clothes so I can shift. My followers stare at me confused before two run up to me. They bow happily and their head turn to two pack wolves before running off to grab their own clothes. I slowly walk towards the first female.

'He's so scary! But I can't be away from my mate. Even if I become a rouge' I howl happily signalling to my first followers that he doesn't need to reject her. She looks at me confused as I slowly bow my head welcoming her to my ranks. All my followers then bow lower welcoming her as one of us.

I walk past her to the next one. 'I hope he'll come to the pack life I can't stand these rouges' I growl viciously towards her and my followers step forward agitated. "I can't stand you either mutt" I snap in her face and walk back to my followers.

The other two of my followers come out of the woods in their human form and hand me my clothes. I nod and go into the woods to change.

But obviously my luck, I trip on a root of a tree and basically somersault my way into the clearing making the whole pack scream with surprise. "LEADER!" Some of my followers dash up to help me before we all fall back on the group laughing.

"This really does not look professional" I chuckle as we stand back up. I collect myself and walk over to the two newly mated couples.

I smile at the first couple and bow my head. My follower's face lights up as he hugs his mate happily. "Did you hear that?" He smiles to his mate while she looks kinda confused. "Uh... sweetie? She didn't say anything" She smiles nervously while the rest of the pack just watch us. "Oh right. This is our Leader, and she approves" He explains happily while the rest of my followers howl happily.

"Wait. The rouge leader is a girl?" She looks even more confused than before. I growl in my throat at her making her neck snap towards me, her eyes washed with fear. "I-I'm sorry Leader" I smile at her and pull her in for a hug. "He'll fill you in and trust me, you want to agree to it all" I whisper into her ear.

I let go and walk to the next pair. I put my hand on my followers shoulder and shake my head. He nods, not looking upset. "I, Liam Tyler, reject you, Kylie Red, as my mate" He says adding a little smirk at the end. The girl looks heartbroken, then angry. "You b***h!" She comes running towards me as I dodge the last second and grab her arms. She gasps quickly as I hold them behind her back. I look over to Liam who just shrugs. I let go of her and smirk. "Let's do a deal, if I win this round I'm aloud to rip you apart but if you win I will give you my approval" I smirk, hearing the excited roars and growls from my followers and worried whines from the pack.

We started circling each other. I hope my followers don't mind a little more violence than planned.
