Sophia’s Point of View: Darkness. There was pitch black darkness. I couldn’t see anything. There was only darkness. There was also this soft pounding in my head that was pretty hard to ignore. There were also voices around me. Voices that I couldn’t place.   “Is she any better today?” the first voice asked.   “There are signs of improvement and she should be waking up any time soon,” the second voice replied.   I tried to open my eyes, but they remained closed.
