“Let’s go,” I said to Sophia
“What...... go where?”
“Out for lunch”
“Oh, okay then,” she replied sounding unsure.
I gave her a small reassuring smile as I gently pushed her off of my lap. I stood up from the chair buttoning my suit jacket. I followed after her and grabbed her hand before she could open the door. Turning her to face me I stared at her closely, examining her face and staring into her eyes.
I slowly leaned into her dropping my hands down to her hips and pulling her extremely close to me. I marvelled at the fact that she didn’t pull away from me but instead she leaned into my touch. I wanted so much to kiss her right now, but I didn’t want to push her away.
