Dimitri and I left the hospital a little while ago because they wanted some alone time. Only God knows what they were going to do.
“What do you want to do today?”
I turned to him surprised by his question. Why would he need to know what I was going to do? I don’t even know what I’m going to do. I honestly thought that he would go back to work or something.
“Aren’t you leaving?” I asked him still utterly confused.
“Why would I leave you alone when I just found you?”
I just stared at him shocked into silence by his words. I didn’t expect him to say that and I honestly feel really happy hearing him say that.
