MEGAN’ POV My parents walked in just as I stood there, fully shifted into wolf form. They froze. Eyes wide. I shifted back instinctively, body trembling as fur gave way to skin. Sebastian reacted fast, rushing to cover me with his jacket. I clutched it around me as I tried to calm my breath. “We didn’t hear the door,” I muttered. My mom’s mouth opened and closed like she didn’t trust what she was seeing. “I don’t know how,” I said, voice shaking. “But I’m not affected by the witches’ curse anymore.
