After dinner, Alex and Amelia retired to their room to get some rest against the following day, which was their mating ceremony.
After discussing for a little while, Amelia, who was already feeling sleepy, was about to drift to sleep when Alex's phone suddenly started ringing, jolting her back up.
Taking the phone, Alex checked the caller ID before sighing heavily and standing up from the bed.
