Getting to the front of Adrian's room, Amelia didn't even bother knocking before rushing into the room. Because of her doctor's instinct, she already considered whatever was happening to Adrian as an emergency on which she needed to act immediately before it got worse.
Barging inside the room, she saw Adrian sprawled on the floor while writhing in pain and clutching his stomach, just as the maid had describd, and without hesitating, she rushed towards him and knelt beside him, trying to see what was wrong with him.
"Adrian, please, can you hear me, and can you also tell me what exactly is wrong with you so that I can know how to go about it?" Amelia asked Adrian with a panicked tone as she tried to stabilize him on the ground in order to see if she could find out what was wrong with him.
