She asks after taking the 3rd sip of her coffee "The company is going great" he lied "I got a new client actually" "That's great! I'm so happy for you. How's umm how's she?" The woman looks away in Shame "The best, what about him?" "Everything going good, just in the middle of our divorce" at that word their eyes meet solely and the world goes silent. "Oh Um I'm happy for you" The man says "But let's get to the point, he's back" The women nearly choked on her coffee "what? I thought he'd be away for a another while" "I thought so too but I guess he's come back for a little bit I think he'll leave soon and we'll...." He stopped when he saw her eyes dilate urging him to finish the last part. When she saw it was pointless she changed the subject "How is their relationship?" Awkwardly looking away and sipping her coffee. "I think It's going good they seem to get along quite well actually he confides in her and they seem pretty understanding of each other." He say's amazed with his own words lightly shaking at the disbelief. "Trust me we will be fine, I've got us as long as those two remain blind sided which they will We're in the clear just one more year until the case fully closes I've paid off the cops already and the judge has been wired his cut to be ours if anything." He whispered Hand cupping her hand in a protective form. "We're fine?" she tries to reassure herself "Wholeheartedly" he smiled maniacally and a glint flashed quickly in his eyes. But the woman saw it all but still Thought nothing of it. "Alright I trust you" she smiles as her eyes moved to the window and sipped her coffee. "So tell me about the company you said you bought" she giggles running her hand together to create heat as she places them on her wiggling lap. The conversations begin both happy, both sharing happy experiences at work neither one aware of the undercover detective that's posed as a writer in front of his laptop. *10 undercover cops were stationed since the beginning of the week for private investigations 5 following the man 5 for the women all their movements documented all their phone calls recorded the cafe requested was sent by text and 3 undercover cops and a detective was stationed, the kids and wives of those cops were all props for background and the Manager was all in for the help before the man sat down the detective made sure he gave them the plan the cashier made sure to leave that table only available cause it would be the only table clean there would be a tiny microphone that senses motion and record instantly and even the quietest conversations all evidence had been recorded and copied for judgment soon* Laughter fills their table as each person in around them smirk to each other continuing their assignments.
