Chapter 18 Genevieve dug her paws into the spongy surface of the air and struggled toward her rescuers. Sariel bounded to the edge of the water in a single leap, and the woman on his back continued her missive to the forest around her. The tug of the water’s willow branches grew stronger, faster, and she flew over the pool.
