LIFE LONG NIGHTMARES
ERIC's POV
After watching her sleep so soundly last night, I didn't want to leave her by herself. There was so much space for the both of us, but I had to pass the idea of lying next to her for my own good. It was better to not tempt myself, so I reclined to stay on the couch. At least, I can watch her sleeping face from this spot.
My phone rang in my pocket as I strolled toward the piece of furniture and I noticed Rayne turn uncomfortably on the bed at the noise. I quickly put the phone on silent, before taking the call.
"The executives are ready for another meeting, it's been fixed for next Friday," Bryce informed me.
"I won't be in the country by then, you'll have to take care of it."
"Does it have something to do with tonight's event?"
"Of course, it does. M
