Holding on to Rodney’s hand, I couldn’t help feeling scared. My body had literally disappeared before my eyes, yet he became my pillar in the midst of all the panic. Were any of the moments we shared truly real? Or was it all a show to make me believe as such? We were surrounded by the clouds in the sky, which also seemed to protect us from what was happening on the other side.
Rodney said we were going back in time. Confused, I had no idea what he had meant. When the skies finally opened on the other end of the clouds, I noticed that time had literally flown by. He just smiled as he guided me through. To where I have yet to see yet. It made me feel a bit uncomfortable to trust someone so much, but this was Rodney, so I shouldn’t have had any misgivings.
