Jacob was on his way to drop Serena off, Serena sat down in the front seat with him cause he didn't want to look like her driver

Serena didn't say a word as she just looked around as Jacob drove.

Soon after they got to Serena's house

Jacob came out of the car as he said: you are welcome, you don't need to thank me.

Serena smiled: you are really nice to me! Thank you.

Jacob said: here is my card number if you need anything, I will be here.

Serena just then remembered her bag

She widened her eyes as she said: my, my bag.

Jacobs said: oh, I forgot it's here.

He opened the back door as he handed her bag over to her.

Serena's place is very ghetto

The neighbors stood there and looked at them.

They started gossiping: it looked like she had a boyfriend now.

Serena notices the scene going on, she looks at Jacob as she says: here is my number too. And thank you!

As she walked away.

Jacob looked at her sexy figure that just walked away. He smiled as he got back into his car!

He didn't drive off he sat there for a bit.

Then he kicked start the car as he drove off

Serena got into the house as Jack said: who was he?

Serena said: a friend!

Jack said: lies, so after I kicked you out of the hospital, you went to spend the night with a ma, you even have the guts for him to drive you back home? Huh

Serena said: no, it's not what you think at all, I was going to!

She was about to finish her sentence when Jack slapped her, she fell to the ground

Serena yelled out in pain haa

Jack said: you little slut. Before you spoil my name in the neighborhood, you should pack your things and leave my house.

Serena cried out: I said I didn't spend the night out I was at the hospital.

Jack's eyes brightened as he said: doing what? Oh, you are pregnant?

Serena finds it hard to stand up as it looks like she broke her waist, she cries softly.

Jack went to her room as he grabbed her luggage and threw it out.

Serena cried: no brother, please don't do this, where will I stay? Please hear me out.

Jack smirked: that's you and your boyfriend's business, get out now.

He grabbed her wrist as he pushed her out

Just when Serena thought she would fall to the ground again, she fell on someone's chest

Her heart beat so fast she looked up in a rush as she saw Jacob.

Jack froze as he saw Jacob he laughed as he said: oh, his even here to save her!

Jacob made Serena stand well as he walked slowly to Jack he said: how shameful it is, you are her brother, and you are treating her this way? Huh?

Serena said: Sir, please don't worry about me, just leave, I don't have anywhere to stay, don't cause me more problems! Please leave

Jacob said: I will take you home!

Serena widened her eyes as she said : Home? I don't even know you.

Jack said: oh, was it a one-night stand? How much did he pay you?

Jacob smirked angrily as he said: enough. I'm not like you. I'm sure it was because of you, that's why she tried to take her own life yesterday. Huh! You need to be arrested.

Jack says: kill herself?

Jacob said: yes, I'm glad I saved her on time. Else she won't be here today

Jack said: Serena? so you tried to kill yourself? And the blame would be on me? You slut, I will kill you myself and go to jail for it.

He was about to drag Serena's hair

When Jacob punched him in the face, he fell to the ground. Serena didn't know how to react to this, she didn't feel any pity for him though, then his wife Stella shouted: how dare you come to our house, to get us beaten? Who are you? How dare you?

Jack groaned in pain on the floor as he said: I won't spare you, Serena.

Jacob said: I punched you! You should face me, not Serena. you always use your power over women? Not a man? Wow

Jack stood up as he said: I don't know who you are, I'm sure not in your class, but I won't spare you Mr man.

Jacob smiled: I will watch you do that!

He looked at Serena as he cupped her cheeks in his hands he said: are you okay?

Serena nodded as she said: I'm fine, what brought you back here Sir?

Jacob said: found your scarf, thought you might need it, so I brought it back.

Serena smiled: thank you! You have to go now.

Jacob said: you are coming with me.

Serena said: no, I will find my way out.

Jacob said: you are so stubborn.

Serena was about to grab her luggage when she saw two men coming towards them, they were in black.

Serena recognized one she said: hey Collins, what are you doing here?

Collins said: Serena, Mr Smith was worried about Sir Jacob so we traced him, and found out he was here.

Jacob's eyes brightened as he said: Serena?

Collins smiled as he said: yes, she's the one, Sir.

Serena looked so confused as she said: he, he his the boss's son?

Collins nodded

Serena looked at Jacob as she said nervously: huh, I had no idea.

Jacob smiled: I had no idea too you were the pretty chef my dad was all about.

Serena said: umm, you should go now, seems Mr Wayland is already so worried about you sir.

She grabbed her luggage as she took a step to walk away. Just then she was raised up into a strong arms

Serena yelped in fear as she said: Sir? What are you doing? Everyone is watching, drop me down.

Jacob said: You are struggling to walk, look at you. I'm helping you. So keep shut.

Serena didn't say a word anymore as she wrapped her hands around his neck.

Jacobs's bodyguard took her luggage along

Jack smirked as he looked at Stella and said: I won't spare that girl.

Jacob's guard opened the door for Jacob as he placed Serena on the seat.

He then closed the door as he walked gently to open the driver's seat door too as he kicked start the car and zoomed off.

Serena said: Sir, umm, where are you taking me to?

Jacob said: Anywhere comfortable for you!

Serena said: where?

Jacob didn't answer her again. As he drove at high speed.

Soon after they got to the Wayland mansion.

Jacob stopped the car as he told Serena not to step out.

He then came down as he helped her open her door and he lifted her up in his arms again. Serena stole a look at his handsome face. Her heart raced so fast.

Then she heard ma Ruth's voice: Jacob? Serena? You both meet?

Jacob dropped Serena on the couch as he said: Ma Ruth! She is a foolish girl, she tried to kill herself last night. That's why I didn't come home last night. I was in the hospital with her.

Ma Ruth said as tears fell from her eyes: Serena, omg, I told you if you are going through a lot, you should always share it with me. I don't know what would have happened if you were not there Jacob.

Jacob said: and her brother, he needs to be arrested. His treating her so so badly. I will file a case against him.

Ma Ruth said: Jacob, calm down. I'm glad Serena is fine.

Jacob said: she's staying here now. Jack throws her out.

Ma Ruth smiled: I have told Serena several times she should stay here with me. But she loves her family so much.

Jacob said: I saved her life, so she must do anything I say. She's too stubborn

Serena looked at Jacob as he talked with Ma Ruth he was so handsome, as her heart pounds.

Jacob said: umm, where is dad?

Ma Ruth said: he went out for work.

Jacob said: okay! As he went upstairs

Serena said: Ma Ruth, am sorry!

Ma Ruth said: Serena, I don't know what to do with you. My fear of loosing you is more than the fear of me dying.

Serena rushed up as she said: Ma Ruth don't ever say that again, you will not die. I reject that for you.

She hugged her tightly as she said: I'm so sorry.

Ma Ruth said: you are forgiven, I am glad you are here now.

Serena smiled as they both went to the kitchen.

Serena said: I'm so hungry.

Ma Ruth said: I made this, have a taste.

Serena took a bite as she said in satisfaction: yummy, this is so delicious.

Jacob who was standing at the entrance of the kitchen for a while admiring Serena.

Just then Ma Ruth noticed Jacob standing there she said: don't stand there come and have a taste too.

Jacob walked to them slowly as he was about to take a spoon up he saw a spoon in Serena's hand, he said: feed me?

Serena froze as she nervously said: huh?

Ma Ruth smiled: don't be shy, he insists.

Serena looked at Jacob as she scooped a little into the spoon and feed it into his mouth, Jacob said: Another one.

This time Jacob held her wrist

As these two heartbeats fast

I think they were lovers in the past.

Ma Ruth admired these two lost in each other eyes

As she finally broke the moment she said: I'm still here you both. As Serena dropped the spoon.

Jacob said: Ma Ruth, the food is delicious. Thanks

Ma Ruth smiled: thank you.

Serena stood there not knowing what to say.

As she said: umm, Ma Ruth, I want to freshen up now. I'm so tired. It's noon now

Jacob said: Your luggage is upstairs.

Serena said: upstairs?

Jacob said: yes, the guest room.

Serena said: but i want to be with Ma Ruth

Jacob smirks: but I want you to be upstairs

Serena looked away as she said: okay.

She remembered he said he owned her now. So she has to do what he says.

Ma Ruth smiled as she looked at Jacob and Serena walked away.

Serena and Jacob got upstairs as Jacob walked her to her room.

Serena hasn't entered one of the waylands rooms before, cause she's just a chef, not a house cleaner. Lucy the house cleaner traveled else she would have been here too.

Serena said: wow.

Jacob smiled as he saw the smile curled up on her lips

He said: this is yours now. Serena said as she looked at him: thank you very much, you have been so nice to me.

Jacob said: you are welcome, I will leave you, to take a rest now.

He walked out and closed the door behind him.

Serena laid on the soft bed as she said: I love it here.
