As they sat in the park, Lexi couldn't help but notice the way Ethan's eyes sparkled in the moonlight. She felt a flutter in her chest, and she knew she was in trouble.

Ethan turned to her, his expression serious. "Lexi, can I ask you something?" he said, his voice low.

Lexi nodded, her heart racing. "Of course, of course what is it?"

Ethan took a deep breath. "I was wondering if you'd like to start fresh, to see where things go between us," he said, his eyes locked onto hers.

Lexi's heart skipped a beat. She hadn't expected this, but a part of her was thrilled at the prospect. "I'd like that," she said finally, her voice barely above a whisper.

Ethan's face lit up with a smile, and he reached out to take her hand. Lexi felt a spark of electricity as their hands touched, and she knew that she was taking a chance.
