“You are going to see Debra?” Crispin’s eyes widened with shock when I told him that I was going to visit Debra. My mother knew about it so, she was not surprised like Crispin. “Yes.” I had a quizzical stare. “Is there anything wrong with that?” “She is a close friend of Nathan’s. What if he is going to be there too?” Crispin frowned. “So what?” My mother chipped in quickly. “Isn’t it a good thing for Sophia and Nathan to meet and talk?” “There you go again, mother.” I replied vapidly. “Mum is right.” Crispin agreed but his eyes gave him away. They were devoid of tiniest shade of ecstasy. “Nathan will not be there.” I said. “If he is there then I will definitely leave.” “That will not be necessary. You need to face him one way or another.” My mother disagreed. “Right, Crispin?”
