Jane POV
Voices woke me up. I didn't open my eyes immediately. My hearing had gotten really weird the past two days. I could pick up the distant sound of cars and even laughter far outside these walls. The sounds were like noises sometimes. They disturbed my sleep, making me drift in and out of unconsciousness.
It felt like someone turned up the volume button inside my ears.
My eyes remained shut but I knew I was in the marital home. The smell and feel was unmistakable. Not to mentioned that I was engulfed in the hubby's marvellous scent. It was too distinct to be coming from only one if his jacket.
