Lucas Dr. Leighton’s face filled my screen. “Mr Sterlin,” he said calmly. “What can I do for you?” I didn’t waste time. “I need information on the surrogate. SM-47.” There was a brief pause. “Why?” he asked, frowning slightly. “I want to offer her another deal,” I said simply. His brows lifted. Then he smiled. “A deal? You want another baby so soon?” I laughed softly. “Not exactly.
