Chapter Nine

Just POV.

"I thought you could get the job done but you are just worthless like the rest of them.

" I'm sorry my Lord but I never realized Damon would knock at that time. She had already believed the façade " I just nodded.

I know fully well that she would be mine not that tramp of a prince.

"You are dismissed" he left my sight but the only thing in my mind was Hayley. I'll get you Hayley. You are mine.

I called one of the noble friend.

"My friend, I visited the witch. She said Damon is a different Hybrid. All other Hybrid has one mate but Damon wolf's mate is different from his Vampire's mate. The goddess destined him with two different mates. He has too choose one among them."

"Who is the other one?"

"Rose Manchester, a She Wolf. She's a beauty to behold and I know Damon Agrippa won't resist the wolf's charm."

"Hayley will be mine"

"Yes, she'll be yours"

"We need to find her and bring her the palace. Damon won't resist a Wolf since he detest humans." I continued "we need to act fast"

Hayley's POV.

It's been weeks since the shape shifter incident. Damon has been caring to me and he has shown me a different size of him which I like a lot.

FEW MONTHS LATER.

The attack has stopped. The king advised us to resume back at the office and we are back to being boss and PA.

Since we've returned Damon has changed. We no longer talk or speak to each other.

I barely see him these days.

Rumor has it that he's with Rose Manchester, the daughter of an alpha.

I feel dejected. The worst is that she's more pretty than I'll ever be. Story has it that he never really liked humans. We are just PET to vamps nothing more.

Prince Damon's POV.

MONTHS AGO.

"He is on hide out but I know his plan is to split you and Hayley from being together. He wants Hayley's heart"

I looked at dad wondering what I ever did for this to happen.

"Find him Magnes, you must find him" he nodded and left.

"We'll find him. I promise." My Father assured me. I nodded praying we will.

I was always with Hayley making sure that intruder never comes back. I made her happy. I loved being the reason behind her smile.

Month passed and there was no more threat. Father told me to resume at the office which I did and met a werewolf. A werewolf who is supposedly the beloved for my vampire self.

We started talking, chatting and hanging out.

We started dating. I liked her maybe because she is not human. My wolf hates the thought of being with Rose but I don't care.

PRESENT.

I came home and heard Hayley giggling with someone who happens to be Lucy.

"Welcome master Damon" Lucy greeted and I nodded but Hayley kept doing her thing without glancing at me.

I gave Lucy a look that means excuse us and she left.

I snaked my hands on her waist kissing her cheeks. I missed her. I know I had a girlfriend but I missed her a lot. She tried detaching herself from me but I didn't bulge.

She pinched me and I released her. She started walking away but not before turning off the cooker.

I flashed in front of her and she gasped. I rolled my eyes. Typical Human.

"Hayley"

"Don't----" I pressed my lips against hers and the tingles were all over.

'Mine' my wolf groaned. I kissed her roughly. She kissed me back with the same fire and passion. She pulled away and shouted at me.

"You don't get to do that" I was not listening to her at all. My mind was only thinking of what I'd love to do with her.

"Damon" I pushed her against the wall.

"Tell me you don't want me. Tell me to stop and I'll stop."

"Stop Damon. Stop. I don't wanna do this." She said looking at the floor.

I raised her chin up and whispered.

"Mean it Hayley. Look me in the eyes and say you don't want me"

"I --" she was lost of words. She continued her ranting.

"You can just come to me after seeing your girlfriend. I won't stop you. Rumor has it that you don't like humans. Please go to the werewolf. I don't wanna see you Damon."

"I'm leaving your house and also tendering my resignation letter first thing tomorrow morning"

"You wouldn't dare"

"I am. I'll look for another job and start working there, okay? So, don't bother about me. I will be fine." she said calmly.

"I'll make sure you don't have any job in this world"

"Is that a threat?"

"No, it's a warning. Think twice before doing that rubbish. Besides my father doesn't like ungrateful employees who doesn't appreciate the fact that she has a job at a multi billionaire company. Others would kill for this job." I know with that she'll change her mind.

Humans are too easy to read which make them pathetic.

"Okay I'll stay but not because of you but your father's generosity."

"Good" I kissed her cheeks before leaving.

Hayley's POV.

What am I gonna do knowing fully well that he's with another woman that is more prettier than me? Help me Lord.

I didn't realize I was crying until Lucy wiped it with an handkerchief. She hugged me tightly and I did the same knowing fully well that I needed it.

"Let's get your mind off things. We are going clubbing." Lucy suggested.

"But---" I tried to argue but she cuts in.

"Get dressed, we are leaving by eight" I nodded. I prepared since its already six- thirty.

I know if I stood there arguing with her, I would never win.

I dressed up, fixed my hair and waited for Lucy since it's already seven- fifty six. I know I used eighty minutes to prepare.

Finally, Lucy arrived and we started heading to the door. We didn't realize Damon was in front of us.

"Where are you guys going?" We gasped in shock. What in the name of sticks is he doing here?

"Master Damon, we" Lucy tried to explain but I placed my hands on her shoulder to silent her.

"None of your business." I said bravely.

"Getting braver I see" he turned to Lucy "leave us"

"No, she isn't" I looked back to see Lucy has gone.

"What is your problem Damon? You have a girlfriend now. I want to have a boyfriend too. I'm going to this party whether you want it or not. Try and stop me." I walked over to the kitchen to grab Lucy but I was pushed against a wall. Damon lips were pressed against mine in a rough kiss.

"You are my Mate and ---"

"She is your mate too. You asked her to be your girlfriend immediately without caring how I will feel. I will just be here looking at both of you. I can't be like this forever. Only God knows when you will ask her to marry you. I'm tired of this. As from now on Damon, you are not allowed to kiss me. Everything between us will remain professional." he nodded.

"So if I kiss you now, you won't respond" I nodded.

"Okay, why don't we find out, shall we?"

He pulled my hair and my lips meet his. The kiss was showing me how much he wants me. How much he needs me. I didn't realize when I started kissing back. I pulled him closer wrapping my hands and legs around him. I pulled away. I pushed him away.

"You won't do that." He moved closer to me and whispered. "I'll do more than just a kiss in due time." He pecked my lips before leaving.

I placed my hands on my lips smiling knowing that this was the first time he kissed me with so much passion.

Lucy smiled at me before whispering in my ears "MY PLAN WORKED" She left. What is she talking about? What plan?
