“… then what are we going to do about the expansion?” I heard a voice ask as I woke up.
“We’ll first have to assess each company and decide which ones are worth expanding.” Who was talking and what companies were they talking about? I slowly opened my eyes and saw my family sitting in the room; my grandparents, my father’s brother and aunt Vicky, Justin, Harper and Ruben.
“Sleepyhead, you finally awake?” Harper asked me then placed her hand on the blankets next to me. I saw that Austin was sleeping on the bed next to me so she probably didn’t want me to wake him.
“What’s happening? Where’s my mom?” I fell asleep next to her but now she wasn’t here.
“It’s okay, your mom is okay. She’s out of surgery so they’re just monitoring her.” Harper informed me as I pushed myself up on the bed.
