Nick's POV
The office door in front of Nick is neither tightly closed nor widely open. The halfopen door seems like an invitation, luring him to get in.
Nick stares at the door, hesitating if he should enter. A part of him wants to break in so that he can see Ara. It feels like they have been separated for a century and he misses her in a way he cannot understand. He realizes that his perception of time is somehow twisted, for they just met yesterday. On the other hand, however, he is afraid Ara will tell his eagerness to see her. His counselor has a sharp observation and it will be too risky to let her know his emotions.
