Ara's POV
As soon as Ara sits down, Nick's shoulder relaxes. He averts his eyes, breaking the eye contact with Mike.
"I didn't expect it would take you so long." says Nick, who stretches his leg a little and asks with a careless manners, "What did you talk about? Seemingly you just had an interesting conversation with that guy."
Ara doesn't find her chat with Mike interesting at all. Neither does she wants to share it with Nick (especially the offer part).
It would embarrass her to death.
But Ara doesn't want to lie to Nick either. She ponders a while and comes up with an idea——she is going to use misleading, a strategy Nick played when confronting Alpha Jack's inquiry.
Asked who he is, Nick introduced himself as someone who is bonded with Ara by the moon.
