Ara’s POV
“What are you talking about? What does target mean?” asks Mary.
Before Ara can work out a proper explanation, Mary finds out the answer. She becomes infuriated and sends Nick a murderous look, shouting, “Do you see me as prey and come here only to hunt me?”
“Probably. The guy doesn’t look like a nice fellow to me.”Mike chants, “He could be a p*****t. You should interrogate him.”
“No! It is not like what you thought.”Ara glares at Mike and sends Mary an apologetic look, “Would you give me a chance to explain? Please. I know you have a heart as golden as your hair.”
Mary blushes at that praise. She softens her voice and agrees, “Alright. What’s your story?”
