Ara's POV
Ara's heart thumps in her chest. A part of her wants to stop the fight, but another part of her worries her interference won't make a difference and even intensifies the conflict between the two Alphas. She ponders and observe others in the house, wondering if Nick and Jack really have a fight, will they stand by or join Jack?
Jack noticed the same thing. He c***s his head to the side and announces with a triumphant smile on his face, "You are deadly wrong. You're outnumbered."
"Sorry but I have to clarify something." Joy clears her throat, "I won't join you in the fight."
"Aren't you a police officer?" Jack twitches his mouth and shoots her a glance in disbelief.
