Inside, drums and gongs resounded, and opera filled the air. Several well-trained children performed somersaults, drawing cheers.
Yun Ye, holding Changsun Wan's hand, walked onto the Taiji Hall to receive the homage of the officials.
Changsun Wuji and Han Diaosi, leading the way, knelt respectfully before the new Emperor of Great Yan and the Empress, saying,
"Long live the Emperor!"
