On the way home Alden tried to ask Amauri about his time:
“Did you have fun!
-Yes! I love going out with Mommy!
-Me too, Darling. And… Did you like the other people there?
-Not as much as mommy.
-You are adorable. But… Did you not make any friends?”
Amauri didn’t even think about it for a second:
“No.
-Oh… I see. That’s okay, Darling.
-Yes, I am not sad. Everyone wants to be my friend, which is irritating.
-Why?
-Because I see that their parents are forcing them.
-You are a very smart child. Unfortunately a lot of people will try to be your friend. Because you are someone important.
-I know, that mommy. Thank you.
-Aren’t you sad?
-No. Because I already have people I love.

Amauri froze and started crying. Seeing this, Alden panicked:
