Why must I marry to someone I even don't know, someone I don't love. A stranger. My life and nobody telling me what to do.

She pack her books and take all her assigment then went out. Her rental house might small but still comfortable and cozy. Class start as usual.

"Hi Nessa, I didn't saw you yeasterday. You okay?" Alvira take her seat next to Vanessa. Vanessa give her fake smile. Such a snake ~

"Ohh about yesterday, actually...my sink it broken again. But thanks to Javien, he fixed it." Alvira just nodded.

"You can hired plumber to fixed instead asking Javien." Alvira replied her fake best-friend. She then double check her assigment but why she sounded annoying. She need to focus with her study. She been overthinking this lately.

Vanessa raised her left eyebrow. Is she started to suspicious?

"Well, he's a great plumber Al. He fixed me well down there too." said Vanessa. Alvira stare at her.

"That sound so weird Nessa." Alvira feel uncomfortable when Vanessa whisper to her in that way.

"You the one who being weird here girl." then she smack softly Alvira shoulder.

"I just want to saving my money instead of hired the other plumber." she continue. Alvira just shake her head, Vanessa rich enough to paying the other plumber but make sense also.

Vanessa is a beautiful girl with blonde hair, sexy hourglass body. Her little bit tan skin make she look more sexy. She always get guys attentions. When she got into collage, Vanessa the one approach her first, she very friendly and look sincere and that how they became 'bff'. She not very good in making friend but thanks to Vanessa, she can reduce her introvert personality a little bit.

The fact, she got jealous, her parent care so much for her. She once meet them last year christmas, her parent very heart-warming person.

I wish my parents like that too

(Alvira flashback)

When her father remarried again with his secretary, their scandalous news became viral over internet and media socials. And what worse, not after he bringing his mistress home, she and her mother got kicked out from their own house. Her own father throw his wife and his own daughter. How could she forgot those painful memories.

All this time she could survived because of mother saving which is more than enough for her, but still she looking for part time job. She just want to be independent and her mother money might run out if she not plan well her saving.

Alvira got no ideas how to tell Javien about the arrange marriage. Her father cannot force her to marry with someone else. Should she ask Javien to marry her but she still young for those stuff. Family, childrens and responsibility she too early for that. She not ready for all of that.

"You look disturbed. Did something happen?" he saw her been so quiet these day. Did she know something about he and Vanessa?

"Al, you alright?" he asked again but no response and not until he shake her shoulder.

Alvira gasp and look at him. "I'm so sorry. What was again?" Javien stroke her cheek. "Do you have any problem to share? You look distracted this lately."

Alvira staring at Javien. He's 5'11 tall, handsome look with his dimples when he smiling, many girls crush on him but she didn't understand why he choose her as his girlfriend. He got look like model maybe he can apply be an actor. And what make her grateful, he always be there with her. She is self-aware about that. He cared for her not because he rich that can give her everything, but he understand her more than anyone else. The truth is, she never ask him to buy anything.

"Err, it my assigments. Lately our lectures gave us many works." she done eating. He saw her didn't eat even a little bit.

"But you barely eat." she was about to leaving.

"I'll go to library first. I have assigments to do." she left him alone.

"I'll see you later then." perhaps he on her month. Javien plan want to treat her dinner tonight after she finish her class. Lately, he and Vanessa have been so active with their secret activity. He could feel that he little bit distant from Alvira than before.

Did he regret what happen? But suddenly a someone hand stroke his behind neck. Who else if not Vanessa.

While looking a book for read, she accidently bump into a couple. She didn't see that girl face, but she saw that guy face. Alvira stiff for a moment. That guy realized they being watch, he kiss her girlfriend more passionate. Alvira felt her face hot, she quickly leaving that couple. He just smirk. Making out at public place, why they so shameless. Peoples nowadays so bold.

[Corgan's Building]

Sir Charles look at his right hand, for the first time in his life. He slapped his own daughter. He didn't mean it to slapped her.

"Sir, our meeting about to start. Do you need anything else?" his PA, Mr. Andy ask him.

"The thing that I ask for? Did you investigated with whom she been with?"

"Yes sir. Here." He pass his tablet to Sir Charles.

'Sanchez? Aren't this...' he look at Mr. Andy again

"You sure this is him?" Sir Charles want to double confirm. "Yes sir. She been dating with Sanchez heir." he nodded.

"I'll meet her after she finish her class. Later inform me about her schedule." they both then leaving the office because they meeting to attend.

Sir Lawrance look around his daughter house. Comfy and clean. Before he arrive there, he checked her workplace. He saw her working. He saw a big frame photo, her late wife and Alvira. Only two of them without him in the photo. He missed her smile. Alvira look young perhaps seven years old. Only her eyes inherited from him, all her looks from her mother, Esme.

Alvira finished her work at 8pm. She look outside and it raining. Heavy rain.

'Why it always rain everytime I forget bring my umbrella.' she shake her head.

"Al, you need ride?" Lia about to drive with her sister car. She saw Alvira then stop.

"Yeah! Thank you so much Lia." she hop in. Both of them then leave the workplace. "Thank you for sending me home Lia." Alvira thanks to her. "No prob girl and it's already late, so not safe for girl like you walked home." Alvira glad hear that. She just smiled. "Well, good night and I'll see you tomorrow then. Drive save, Lia." Lia nodded.

I glad that I meet you ~

Lia, even though they just colleague at work, but she could tell that girl is heart warming person. Her look match with her personality. Fair skin, ginger hair colour with pairs blue eyes she like summer season.

Alvira felt weird when her house door unlocked.

'Did i forgot to lock or someone just robbed my house?' why would their rob my house. She not even rich, her house got nothing to steal. She quickly get inside.

'Father?!' Alvira suprised.

"What are you doing in my house?!" her anger arise when she saw that face.

"Did you just broke in here? Why are you here?!" Sir Lawrance rise for his seat.

"I came here to tell you, we already set your wedding day." she couldn't hold her anger anymore.

"Like how many times I told you I'm not marrying into Hayes. I'm not Corgan anymore!"

"Miss Alvira, this is for you own good. You don't have to live like this and you don't have to do part time job anymore." interupt Mr. Andy

"Do I look I need your money? You the one who throw me and my mom. You the one who started this first!" her tears start to flow.

"And why would I marry a stranger? You can ask your another daughter not me!"

"Andy, show her." Sir Lawrance order his PA to pass the envelope. Alvira look confusion.

"Open it." She open the envelope. A few photos.

Her world just like the weather outside. Heavy rain with thunder and storm. Her tears just like flood, she want to scream, but feel something stuck in her throat.

Javien and Vanesaa their both betrayed her. How could their do this to her.

"Where did you get this?!" she don't want to believe until she heard from Javien own mouth.

"We run some investigation about your relationship Miss Alvira. The truth already in your hands. But you can ask them for conformation." answer Mr. Andy.

These people truly freak! Their even investigate her relationship?

"I give you a weeks to settle your matters with him. Either you like or not, you still marrying with Hayes heir and, don't forget that." without wasting his time, Sir Lawrance leave Alvira alone. She cried as much as she can.

She took warm shower to warm her but, still not forget the pictures she saw. How could they do this to her. What I did wrong in this life?
