A heavy rain that night make she awake from her sleep due of thunder sound. She look around, her mother not beside her. "Mommy... Mommy?" she looking for her mother but her mother not inside the bedroom. Then she went to living room, her mother nowhere found.

"Mommy...mommy...mom..." she starting sobbing calling for her mother.

She run to bedroom again and straight open their wardrobe, her mother's clothes still there. The heavy rain finally subsided, she heard like somebody showering inside their bathroom.

"Mommy?" she keep calling her mother but no answer. When she open the door but the scene infront her make her knees weakly, she saw the blood on her mother wrist. Due of lightning, she could saw her mother's pale face. She become more terrified and her little body shaking.

Ring ring ring ring~ her alarm sound break the silence morning.

She gasped and she could feel her cold sweat. Lately, she always dreamt of her late mother. Is something bad will happen or maybe she just overthinking. She looked at her alarm and it show six o'clock in the morning. Today her class will start at afternoon so she go to work first at cafe. She took her mother picture and slowly laying back and stared at her bedroom ceiling, a small tears came out.

"Mommy, I miss you" she whisper while she hug the picture.

[Daily Cafe]

"Alvira, you look so tired this lately. Did something happen?" her colleague name Lia asking her. Alvira shaked her head.

"It's my assignment. Our lectures gave us many works." she look a little bit stiff. Lia nodded.

"I'm very envy you Alvira, that you can continue your study at college. Moreover at Stanford College." said Lia. Alvira softly sigh.

"It not easy as you think Lia. At first, I also want to give up, but then when I work at here, I started to realize my dream." she looked at Lia.

"Your dream?" Lia asked her. Alvira nodded. "Yeah, I hope that one day I also have my own cafe." she answered her. Lia patted Alvira shoulder "Good luck!" she giving her words of encouragement. They both continued they work since they got customers coming.

After finish her part time job, Alvira went to her college. Luckily her college not far from her part time workplace so she just walk from there. This year was her second year. Everyday same day, nothing change.

While she busy with her assigment suddenly a guy approaching her.

"Hey babe..." she turn back then smile toward him.

"Javien, you came. I thought you forget." Javien then take seat infront Alvira.

"How could forget when it comes to you." he then take out his notebook from his bag. They both already plan to study together while Javien in his final year at collage.

Time pass by so fast, their first class at this afternoon will start soon. Javien feel his phone vibrate and then he check his handphone. A message appears. He smile. Alvira noticed, but she ingore him.

"Hey Al, Nessa said she need my help. Her sink at her house broke again." Javien quickly put his things inside his bag.

"Ouhh alright. Didn't you fix it last time? Maybe you should call plumber." she just watch him pack his things.

"It alright babe. I got it. I should go now, see you later." He then kiss her forehead. She didn't suspect anything, because she trusted her 'bestfriend' and her boyfriend. Javien and Vanessa they seem very close lately. Maybe because Javien always help her. Alvira continue her assigment.

He push the bell button and not after that a girl appear with sexy lingerie. Javien smirk when saw that view infront him.

"I need your help sir, you know what I mean right..." she whisper seductively to his ear. "I'm here to fix it, don't worry bout that." he then got pull inside and he locked the infront door.

"Did you tell her you came here?" Vanessa push Javien into sofa then sat on his lap. Javien stroking those sexy thighs of her.

"Don't worry, she know." Both of them start kissing passionately.

Vanessa could feel down there poking her private part. "You seem so ready." she kissed his neck. "You seem so wet too." as he rub her private part leisurely and she hug him tightly. Both of them breathing heavily.

Then she started to knees infront him.

Alvira look at her watch, Vanessa seem late for they first period class. She took out her phone but still no respond from Javien nor Vanessa. But then, her phone vibrate. A message coming. Her face frown when she saw the sender name.

[Corgan's Resident]

"Thank you sir." after paying the taxi fees she went straight inside resident.

"Miss Alvira, welcome home." said the head maid known as aunt Loe. Seeing her young miss well she relieved. But she can tell that look, she is tired based on her facial expressions.

"Aunt Loe, how are you? Is there something happen?" aunt Loe just shake her head.

"I already cook your favourite food knowing, our miss coming here today." said aunt Loe. "Thanks aunt Loe." she thankully because even though sixteen years she and her mother leaving the house, aunt Loe still remember her favourite food. She want to spend more time with aunt Loe but her stepsister coming.

"Well well well look who here..."

Alvira roll her eyes when she heard the voice before she turn around. Her stepsister, Gwen. Aunt Loe excuse herself after she saw Gwen.

Gwen look at her stepsister upside down with her b**ch face.

Alvira not really in the mood to argue with her stepsister which is wasting her time. Gwen got jealous of her stepsister because she the only true heiress Corgan family. If not, she the one who will marry into Hayes family.

"What the matters you guys call me back home?" Alvira asked Gwen.

"Ohh, I thought you already knew seeing that you coming home today." Gwen smirk then left her alone.

Alvira then went to his father work room, she knocking the door. After she heard her father answered, she take a deep breath before she enter. But when she open the door, she saw another unfamiliar man. She wondering what happen.

Her father never contact or talk to her since she and mother left home.

"Well, Sir Corgan I will inform Sir Hayes about this matter. Thank you and have nice day." that unfamiliar man leaving the room. Now left she and her father. Alvira just stand infront of her father while he still reading some documents. He then put down his glasses. Staring into her.

It been sixteen years after his late wife and his daughter leaving their house and now he seeing his daughter standing infront him. Grown up. And she look exactly like her mother, Esme.

"I have something to tell you." Sir Lawrance Corgan moved from his seat then he walk to the window he look outside while turning his back without facing his daughter.

He couldn't forget those face. Esme. How can he forget after everything happen.

"What it is?" she ask bluntly. How could she forget what happens sixteen years ago when she and her mother got kicked out of from their own house after his father believing his mistress words. She might still kid but, that memory staying forever in her mind.

"I want you to marry with Hayes heir." he turn facing Alvira. He look a her confused face.

"As far as I know, I'm no longer in Corgan family. Why would I marry to someone else? You can ask Gwen to do your dirty work." she about to leaving after she heard her father ridiculous news.

"It your mother's will. She the one who requested not to removed your name before she left us. So you still Corgan members." Sir Lawrance pass some paper to Alvira. She couldn't believe what she read. She know her mother hand writing and its true.

'Mom, why would you do that...' All she want is to runaway but her mother's will make her tied her entire life with Corgan's family name.

"You cannot force me to marry with the Hayes. Beside I'd already have someone else I love. We been dating for years." Alvira not satiesfied with her father.

"It our family tradition to fulfill. Your grandmother and your aunt also married into Hayes family. So no excuses for you doing same like them." Sir Lawrance didn't care.

"I'm not leaving the person I loved just because you forcing me marry with stranger. I'm not like you coward."

Ppakkk!! Without he realizing he slap her. Alvira touch her left cheek. Without a words she leaving the house.
