Episode 3: Unseen connections

215 Words
Aria sat in her studio, the strange woman’s words echoing in her mind. “A bond. You should look deeper.” She stared at the crimson thread in her painting. What did it mean? Was it simply a product of her imagination, or something more? Curiosity gnawed at her. She grabbed her sketchbook and began to draw—a thread winding through different scenes. Without realizing it, her hands sketched a figure she didn’t recognize: a man in traditional samurai armor, his face stoic but his eyes filled with sorrow. At the museum, Kieran couldn’t shake the image of the seamstress from his mind. That vision had felt real, almost as if he had lived it. He flipped through old texts about the crimson thread, piecing together fragmented myths. One line caught his attention: “The thread connects those who are destined but tests them with trials.” Later that evening, as Aria strolled through the park to clear her mind, she spotted a crimson ribbon fluttering from a tree branch. She reached for it, and as her fingers brushed the fabric, a jolt of electricity coursed through her. At the same time, Kieran, still in the museum, felt a sharp tug in his chest, as if something—or someone—was calling him.
