The shrine’s interior was bathed in a soft, ethereal glow. Crimson threads floated in the air, weaving intricate patterns that shimmered with life. The sight was both beautiful and unsettling, like stepping into a living tapestry. Aria’s breath caught as she reached out to touch one of the threads, but Kieran grabbed her hand. “Don’t,” he warned. “We don’t know what they might do.” Before she could respond, a voice echoed through the chamber, melodic and ancient. “You’ve come far, seekers of truth.” Startled, they turned to see a figure emerge from the shadows. A woman draped in flowing robes of silver and red stood before them, her eyes glowing faintly like the threads. Her presence was commanding yet serene, as if she were a living embodiment of the shrine itself. “Who are you?” Kieran asked cautiously. “I am Yuna,” she said, her voice resonating like a melody. “The Keeper of Fate, guardian of the threads that bind your souls.” Aria’s heart raced. “You know about us? About the curse?” Yuna nodded, her expression unreadable. “You are bound by choices made long ago. To break free, you must confront the truth of your past. But be warned—what you seek comes at a cost.” The threads around them pulsed with energy, their meaning shrouded in mystery.
