Episode 16: A past Unveiled

235 Words
Aria and Kieran emerged into a dimly lit workshop. The scent of wood and ink filled the air, and the faint glow of lanterns illuminated the space. Crimson threads hung from the ceiling, weaving an intricate tapestry of sorrow and love. “This is her workshop,” Aria whispered, her voice trembling. The seamstress stood in the center of the room, her hands trembling as she worked on the crimson thread. Her face was streaked with tears, her expression a mixture of love and despair. Kieran and Aria watched silently, unable to look away. Suddenly, the door to the workshop burst open, and the samurai stormed in. His armor clinked as he approached, his voice urgent. “You don’t have to do this!” The seamstress shook her head, her voice breaking. “I can’t let you suffer because of me. If I cut the thread, you’ll be free.” “Free?” the samurai exclaimed, his voice filled with anguish. “This thread binds us because of love, not pain! Don’t you see? Severing it will only destroy us.” Aria clutched Kieran’s arm, tears streaming down her face. “She thought she was saving him, but she didn’t understand.” The seamstress lifted the scissors, her hand trembling. “I have no choice.” As the blades closed on the thread, the room erupted in light, pulling Aria and Kieran back into darkness.
