Chapter 7:rules of a contract

She liked the space she was given at the office,she almost didn’t believe it was hers at first,it looked too elaborate to be an intern’s office,she walked to her table and ran her hand slowly over it,Christian was standing at the corner looking at her admire her space,
“I hope it’s to your liking,I chose the closest office to mine since you’ll need to be my side almost all the time”,he said inching closer to her.
She turned to face him,a bright smile on her face,
“I love it,it’s a very beautiful space,and I really like the feel of this table,nice touch,thank you so much Christian,I mean err..Boss”
He let out a little chuckle and dragged her close to himself,so close that she could smell his spicy fragrance and feel the heat emanating from his body
“This table would be perfect to take you right now,wouldn’t it?he said lowering his lips so close to hers she could feel his breath on her lips.
For a split second,she was caught in his gaze,so lost in his “oh so beautiful eyes”that she couldn’t find her words,her eyes darted to his lips and she swallowed a huge gulp.
Christian smirked,he loved the way he was making her squirm
“And it’s Christian”she blinked,
“Huh?”
“I don’t want you addressing me as boss or sir,it’s Christian,you are supposed to be my girlfriend after all”he said,stroking her lower lip with his thumb.
She swallowed a huge gulp and mustered all the wit she could and held his hand,
“Contract girlfriend,and when are we going to sign it by the way?
“Ooohh feisty,I like that about that,come with me;I told my secretary to draft our contract,she has already done that”he said taking her hand while they left her office to his.
They got to his office where they met the secretary standing at the front of his table,she bowed at him and then greeted Arya,
“Good morning ma’am”
“Good morning”Arya said,she noticed the way the secretary was eyeing Christian’s hand in hers but she brushed it off as none of her business.
“Piper,this is the new intern,she is going to be working as my personal assistant”
Arya saw piper’s smile turn upside down for a minute ,then she went back to her signature smile and said,
“Sir,I was supposed to be promoted to your personal assistant this month,I’m pretty sure she could intern as something else”.

did this b***h think she was to even say that)Arya was truly surprised.
Christian went stiff when piper said those words,he walked over to where piper was standing so close to her that their faces almost touched and for a second,Arya would have thought that Christian wanted to kiss her if not for the menacing look on his face,
“And do you think you are to ever question my instructions”he said with a low growl.
“If you ever question my orders again,I won’t only fire you,I would make sure your whole family goes penniless and you never get to work in any company in your life,do you understand?’’
Piper gulped and nodded,Arya noticed she was trembling.
She saw Christian point towards the door
“Now get out”
Piper bowed and left the office,eyes on the floor as she walked out.
(Wow,I never expected this part of him,I would never want to experience it too)she thought
Immediately piper left the room,he turned back to her and said,
“Now,where were we? Please have a seat”she smiled and took the seat at the front of his table.
“This is the rules of the contract i feel is going to be convenient for the both of us,please let me know what you think”he passed the file to her to read.
She took a look the contract and laughed when she saw page 2
“No s****l activities unless it’s consensual,it was consensual when you nearly took breath out my lungs a few moments ago”she said with a smirk.
He gave her a daring look and shivers ran down her spine.
“The contract is going to last for a year???”she said with widened eyes“And what do you mean I can’t date anyone else for the period of our contract?”
He relaxed in his chair and fiddled with a pen
“I meant a school year,because were supposed to always flaunt our relationship at school,which would be enough time to keep crushes off our backs and of course Jessica”
“But what if I meet someone I finally like and want to be with?”
“Then I’ll hunt him down,slice off his throat and fingers,then skin him alive and throw his body in the ocean”he said without batting an eyelid.
She was so stunned by his words she couldn’t even speak,she just kept staring.
He let out a warm laugh “I’m joking Arya,calm down,you look like you just saw a ghost,if you find someone you like,we call it off,simple”
Something about his laugh made her feel fluttery in her stomach,it wasn’t something she had never really seen since they started talking.
“So basically this contract states that we fake date for a year,we can only have consensual s*x,we’re not allowed to fall in love with each other and so on and so forth…

They were interrupt by the sound of the phone ringing on his table,he picked it up and answered,then replied “okay”and got up .
“Let’s go Arya,the driver is waiting for us downstairs”
She picked up her iPad and her bag and hurriedly ran after him,then got into the elevator and she looked at her iPad,
“But you don’t have any meeting scheduled for today?”
“Were not going for a meeting”he said while straightening his tie,“we’re going to pick my brother from the airport”
They got out of the elevator and went outside to the lobby where the driver was waiting in his Bentley ,he opened the door for Arya and went in after her.
“You have a brother?”
“Yes,lance artardo is a one of a kind brother ,definitely.P.S he might come off as rude at first,but trust me he’s totally the best when he likes you”
She nodded and smiled (I wonder what’s this lance is going to be like)
They got to the airport and parked close to where the plane was,artardo was boldly written on the plane.
She saw a tall figure dressed in a black button down shirt and pants with a black coat get down from the plane and started walking towards them.
As he got closer,Arya began to notice his features,(sexy definitely runs in the family)lance was what you would call a beaut,he had jet black hair just like his brother and blue eyes which seemed to be giving her a once over.
He went and hugged Christian
“Long time no see little brother,I know ,I know you’ve missed me so much”.
He looked over to where Arya was standing,“who’s the chick?”
Christian didn’t know whether to introduce her as his girlfriend or his personal assistant.
“This is Arya”he gave himself a mental slap on the head.
“Arya?”lance said with raised eyebrow,looking her over again.
“Well this is definitely a step up from piper and Jessica ,just hope she doesn’t turn out like your other girls though”
(Wait she couldn’t be hearing right,piper and Chris dated?like piper the rude secretary?no way!!)
