Chapter 1 – The Loveless Bond

1114 Words
Andrea Two months later… I sat on the hospital bed, staring at Dr. Grace Bolton like I could not hear her right. “Congratulations, Andrea,” Grace said softly, smiling. “You are two months pregnant.” My breath stopped. “P-Pregnant?” I whispered. My hands shook as they covered my mouth. Before that day, I did not even think about babies. I only knew that my body felt wrong. Every morning, my stomach felt upset. I felt dizzy, tired, and weak. Even the smell of food made me sick. “Maybe it’s stress,” I told myself many times. “Or maybe I caught something.” But the pain did not stop. I did not want to alarm my parents. I did not want the pack to know. Most of all, I did not want Dwayne to know I was unwell. So I went to the hospital alone. “Yes,” she said again, slower. “You are going to have a baby.” Tears fell before I could stop them. Her words pulled me back to that night. The Mating Night. The night that ruined everything. “You marked me?” I remembered crying that morning Dwayne’s face was full of rage. “No! I made a mistake,” he snapped. “I thought you were Sasha. You seduce me!” “That’s not true,” my mother said firmly. “Andrea would never do that.” “The cameras don’t lie,” my father added. “You went to her room, Dwayne. No one forced you!” Alpha Troy’s voice had been cold. “You marked her. You will marry her. Do not give embarrassed to our name!” Queen Isabel looked at me with pity. “Dwayne, as the future Alpha, you should become responsible. Andrea is now your mate. Our future Luna.” Dwayne just stared at me like I was something dirty. “You will regret this!” Back in the clinic, I wiped my tears. “Grace… please don’t tell anyone yet.” She frowned. “What? Why? This is important news, you carrying the future heir of our pack.” “I know,” I said quickly. “But I want to tell Dwayne first.” She sighed. “Alright. But you must be careful. Your pregnancy is risky.” “I will,” I promised. When I reached home and saw Dwayne’s car, my heart lifted. “He’s home,” I whispered. “I can tell him now. And maybe his mind will change.” I rushed upstairs, but a maid stepped in front of me. “M-Ma’am, please do not go in your room,” she said carefully. “S-Sir Dwayne is not alone.” I froze. “What do you mean?” “He’s with Miss Sasha,” she answered in a low voice. My chest tightened. I still walked to the door. I opened it just a little. I heard Sasha’s voice first, soft and breathless. Then Dwayne’s. “I love you,” he said. “It’s always been you.” Sasha laughed lightly. “Then prove it.” Dwayne didn’t just move; he took possession. He grabbed her thighs, hitching them over his shoulders to open her completely. "You want it hard? I’ll split you wide open," he roared. "f**k, Dwayne! You’re so big—you’re stretching me so much!" Sasha screamed, her back arching off the sheets as she took every inch of him. "I want to be all you feel," he groaned, leaning down to bite her shoulder as he drove his hips home again and again. "I want you leaking me for days. Tell me how much you love this thick cock." "f**k me harder, break me!" she thrashed under him, her voice breaking into a jagged moan. Dwayne didn't slow down, his thrusts becoming faster, more shallow and frantic as the friction turned to fire. "You’re never going to forget the way I own this pussy." he gasped, his grip bruising her hips. I saw them on the bed. Our bed. His hands on her, her body pressed close to his. Too close. My tears fell fast. I covered my mouth so I would not scream. Inside me was a baby. His baby. But in that room, I did not exist. I stepped fully into the room. They both saw me. However, neither of them screamed. Neither of them rushed to explain. Dwayne only reached for his shirt, calm and slow, like I was not even there. Sasha picked up her dress from the floor, her face pink but relaxed, her lips still curved in a soft smile. “Damn! Knock first,” Dwayne snapped while buttoning his shirt. “Do you have no manners?” My chest shook. “This is my room,” I said, my voice breaking. Sasha looked at me, eyes gentle, almost kind. She pulled her dress on and said nothing. Dwayne laughed without humor. “So what?” he said coldly. “This is my house. I can do whatever I want.” My tears fell. “Dwayne… please,” I whispered. “Listen to me. I have something to tell.” He turned away, fixing his cuff. “Cut it off! I’m tired of your drama.” “I’m pregnant,” I cried out. The words fell hard between us. Dwayne froze. His back stiffened. Slowly, he turned around. His eyes widened, just for a second. “What did you say?” he asked. Sasha gasped softly. “Pregnant?” she repeated, her hand flying to her chest. “Yes,” I said, my hands shaking as I held my stomach. “I’m pregnant. With your child.” The room went quiet. Dwayne opened his mouth, then closed it. His face turned hard again, like a wall going up. Sasha quickly picked up her bag. “I… I should go,” she said softly. She walked to Dwayne, stood on her toes, and kissed his cheek. “No, I’ll drive you,” Dwayne said at once. I stared at him. “You’re leaving?” I asked weakly. “After I told you…?” They walked past me. “Dwayne,” I begged. “Please. Don’t leave.” The door closed. I stood there, alone, the room silent except for my broken breathing. My legs gave out. I dropped to my knees, my hands pressed to the floor, tears falling freely now. “I’m pregnant… I’m carrying your baby…” I whispered to the empty room. No answer came back. Only silence. And in that silence, I felt it clearly— I was alone, even with his child inside me.
