The life of Lilyrose

Chapter 2

Day 2

What a nice sunny day now time to get ready and grab breakfast, first I jump in a shower then I quickly dry myself and put my dressing gown on and make my way to my closet and decide what I am wearing since its nice out I pick a dress with flowers on it I put it on and make my way downstairs.

Mum is already downstairs and greets me we have breakfast together and she was telling me that she is starting a new job today and her and dad will be working late and not to wait up for them she hands me the front door key and all of a sudden the front door goes my mum answers and it's Ryder she invites him in he introduces himself, three of us have a lovely chat and just like that mum says goodbye to us both and we make our way to school whilst my mum jumps in her car and heads to her new job, it was a pleasant drive to school we got to know each other well I learned that his mum passed away when he was young and its just him and his dad who he helps a lot with the family business (not sure what that is as he has been rather vague about it) we drive by the school and I ask him why he becomes quiet and won't answer me he picks up the speed and before I know it, it looks like we are driving up a mountain, Ryder you are scaring me whats happening we are going to be late for school and the only reply I get from him is don't worry we aren't going to school today.

we arrive at our destination and we are outside a little cottage in the middle of the woods and I start to feel uncomfortable and feel like we are being watched I alert Ryder of my concern and he shrugs it off and says we are the only ones here.

I have a look at our surroundings and take it all in the cottage is rather small but beautifully decorated and I ask were we are and he starts to open up and talk about his mother and tell me that it belonged to her and that this his favourite place to be he comes here often, he gives me a tour of the place and within the house there is a spacious living room nicely decorated a small and bright kitchen and upstairs there are two bedrooms and a tiny bathroom, we sit and have a lovely chat watch movies and have nibbles before I know it it's dark out, I turn to Ryder and ask him to take me home aa it's getting late he hesantly agrees and we start to travel back I feel really at ease with Ryder as if I have known him my whole life and yes I am really attracted to him.

we arrive back at my house I noticed both my parents aren't back yet as their cars aren't there and the lights aren't on in the house I let Ryder know and he invited himself into my house and makes his point clear he ain't leaving until both my parents are home. I cook us some dinner we both sit down and eat and chat, Ryder has been the perfect gentleman he decided he is sleeping on the couch and I go to my own room and get prepared for bed.

Morning arrives and still no sign of my parents I pick up the phone and dial there numbers first mum and then my dad but both numbers go onto voicemail which isn't like them I let Ryder know, he then picks his phone up and calls someone not sure who , he ends the call and says come with me my dad can help.
